From walk-through inspections to continuous monitoring
Looms, motors, and fans on a textile line run continuously for long stretches, and a single unexpected stoppage can halt the entire line. The operator previously relied on manual inspection rounds, judging equipment health by sound and experience, so failures were typically discovered only after the fact.
The NHR solution mounts industrial vibration sensors on key motors and rotating equipment, with S09 smart wireless transmitters reporting the data over NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, and other communication modes — no additional cabling across the production floor. Vibration thresholds are set for each machine, abnormal trends trigger alerts, and every reading builds into a condition history.
Earlier warnings, more predictable maintenance
Abnormal equipment behavior now surfaces as minute-level alerts instead of after-the-fact discovery, allowing the team to intervene before small issues become unplanned stoppages. Routine inspection rounds were reduced by roughly a third to a half, and around-the-clock vibration data gives service timing and spare-part preparation an objective basis, moving equipment management toward data-supported preventive maintenance.
