NHR is highlighting a refrigeration maintenance application in Saudi Arabia, where a service center now validates repaired beverage fridges through continuous cabinet-temperature measurement.
Validation without timed manual readings
In the local heat, retail beverage fridges run under heavy load all year round, and every repaired unit must prove its cooling performance is back within specification before returning to service. Technicians used to measure each unit at set intervals and log readings on forms — whatever happened between measurements went unseen, nights were a complete blank, and a unit cooling too slowly or drifting warm repeatedly might stand out only after several rounds of comparison, stretching validation cycles.
The NHR solution places an S09-TH wireless temperature sensor inside each unit under test, measuring cabinet temperature continuously from the moment repair is complete through the full validation cycle. The sensor requires no modification to the unit and no cabling, moves on to the next unit once validation ends, and reports to the cloud platform over cellular connectivity.
Catching abnormal units early in testing
On the platform, every unit under test gets its own temperature curve and tolerance band: slow pull-down or repeated warm drift raises an immediate alert, so units with insufficient cooling performance are intercepted early in testing and reworked — instead of failing later in the field. Routine inspection and logging trips fell by roughly thirty to fifty percent, returning that time to actual repair work, while validation reports are now system-exported and delivered with the equipment as data-backed proof of workmanship.
