Closing the night and weekend monitoring gaps
Storage conditions for pharmaceuticals and medical supplies are strictly defined — a controlled room drifting out of range can put the usability of an entire batch, and the question of liability, at stake. Scheduled manual rounds left long unmonitored windows between shifts and across nights and weekends, with no way to catch a deviation while nobody was present. At the same time, the rooms' envelope ruled out drilling and cable runs, so continuous monitoring had repeatedly stalled.
The NHR solution places S09-TH wireless temperature and humidity sensors at key positions in each controlled room. The battery-powered sensors require no changes to existing shelving or storage layout, and readings travel to the cloud platform over cellular connectivity, independently of the facility's own network — storage operations continued as normal throughout installation.
Fewer rounds, data-backed answers for auditors
Each controlled room has its own tolerance band on the platform: readings approaching a threshold trigger a notification, and deviations raise an immediate alarm at any hour. Routine inspection trips fell by roughly thirty to fifty percent, with staff entering rooms mainly when an alert or anomaly calls for it. Every room also gained its first complete, continuous environmental record — when customers or auditors ask about storage conditions, full historical curves can be exported on the spot.
