Closing the gaps between manual readings — without construction

Pharmaceutical production rooms must hold temperature and humidity within defined tolerance bands, and any deviation can affect process conditions and product quality. The operator had relied on staff copying thermo-hygrometer readings at set times, leaving gaps of several hours in which an HVAC fault could go unnoticed until the next round. Yet cleanroom walls and the containment envelope cannot simply be drilled for cable runs, so conventional wired monitoring had always been too disruptive to pursue.

The NHR solution places S09-TH wireless temperature and humidity sensors at key points in each production room and the surrounding controlled spaces. The compact, battery-powered sensors are simply positioned indoors, and readings travel to the cloud platform over cellular connectivity — leaving the facility's own network untouched and requiring no interruption to the production schedule.

From spot checks to around-the-clock oversight

Each production room has its own tolerance band on the platform: readings approaching a threshold trigger a notification, and deviations raise an immediate alarm. Environmental anomalies that once surfaced only at the next reading round are now flagged by minute-level alerts, letting the team act before the impact spreads. Every room also gained its first complete, continuous environmental record — historical curves have replaced scattered handwritten forms, QA documentation is exported from the system, and long-term trend analysis finally rests on reliable data.
