NHR is sharing a CO₂ inventory-monitoring application for industrial sites in Taiwan, helping a site operator track tank stock across locations in real time and move refill planning from emergency response to proactive scheduling.
Bringing existing tank data online, without touching the tanks
CO₂ is a supply many industrial processes cannot interrupt, yet tank level and pressure gauges are typically readable only on site, with remaining stock estimated from manual readings and experience. Two costs kept alternating: gas ordered too early wasted transport and scheduling, while a near-empty tank discovered at the last minute forced an emergency truck dispatch — with a real risk of production stoppage.
The core of the NHR solution is to leave existing equipment untouched and simply bring its data online. S09 smart wireless transmitters fitted at each tank read the industrial signals from the existing level and pressure sensors directly, so no tank or gauge is replaced and gas supply is never interrupted during installation. Data reports to the cloud over cellular connectivity, with no cabling in the tank area and reliable reporting even from remote sites.
From reactive scrambling to planned deliveries
After deployment, level, pressure, and consumption rate for every tank at every site became visible on one screen in real time. Headquarters no longer phones each site to confirm status, and abnormal consumption is seen as it happens rather than discovered at stocktake.
Refill schedules are now planned against actual consumption trends, with automatic alerts when a tank reaches its refill threshold. Truck runs are consolidated, last-minute emergency dispatches have decreased, and the risk of production stoppage from supply run-out has dropped sharply — inventory management has become proactive.
