The NHR solution deploys S09 smart wireless transmitters on key plots, each connected to a 3-in-1 soil sensor measuring moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity, paired with an atmospheric sensor for ambient weather. Data reports wirelessly to the cloud with no cabling across the fields, managers check every plot from a phone or the cloud dashboard, and an alert fires whenever soil moisture drops below its threshold.
Irrigation decisions move from inherited experience to evidence
After deployment, the farm's response to field-condition changes moved from next-day rounds to the same day. Soil-moisture shortfalls are flagged the day they occur, irrigation follows actual demand, and drought stress and over-irrigation have declined together — with water directed to the plots that truly need it.
With soil and environmental records automated, the time spent compiling field reports by hand fell by about half, and continuous data curves let the farm compare plots and seasons for the first time — a foundation for stable quality in organic cultivation.
