From manual adjustment to automated scenes
Before each VIP arrival, butlers used to adjust lighting, air conditioning, and shading item by item — time-consuming, easy to get wrong, with preferences scattered across handover notes and experience quality fluctuating with staff turnover.
The NHR solution brings lighting, HVAC, and motorized shading under one scene-control system: once a guest's preferences are on file, the matching scene is applied automatically before check-in. The monitoring layer runs on S09 smart wireless transmitters connected to CT energy sensors and an HVAC pressure gauge, reporting per-circuit consumption and air-conditioning behavior wirelessly — no large-scale cabling in an operating hotel.
Consistent experience, earlier intervention
Abnormalities in HVAC and other critical equipment moved from "discovered when a guest complains" to minute-level alerts, so engineering resolves issues before the experience is affected, and routine manual inspection rounds were reduced by roughly a third to a half.
Preference application no longer depends on an individual butler's memory, keeping service quality consistent, while per-circuit consumption and equipment records support centralized control of lighting and HVAC during unoccupied hours — moving energy use from broad-brush to precise.
