Seeing localized hot spots in a large warehouse
Temperature inside a large warehouse is far from uniform: vertical gradients in high-bay spaces, sun-exposed walls, and zones near dock doors can all form localized hot spots that differ markedly from the building average. With only a handful of fixed thermometers read manually, conditions at upper rack levels and in corner zones stayed invisible, and anomalies often surfaced hours after they began.
The NHR solution deploys S09-TH wireless temperature and humidity sensors across warehouse zones and rack heights, forming a measurement grid over the whole building, while T21 BLE cold chain temperature sensors add pallet-level tracking in particularly sensitive storage areas. The battery-powered sensors require no drilling or cabling, and the rollout never interrupted daily inbound and outbound operations.
